Brdo Brijuni Process

The Brdo-Brijuni Process is a joint initiative by Slovenia and Croatia which was formed as a driving force for political and overall development in Southeast Europe. It contributes to the enlargement process and at the same time addresses several delicate global as well as regional policy issues. The leaders of the Brdo-Brijuni Process are building the open political dialogue and the trust necessary to strengthen Euro-Atlantic integration.

The process is also a platform for a discussion about a long-term strategy for the stability and security of Southeast Europe and a forum for open bilateral and regional issues. Most importantly, it is becoming a regular, direct channel to exchange information with the European Union and helps bring the region’s potentials closer to the European level.
