10.1.2013 – The President of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor, held a meeting today with the President of the Football Association of Slovenia (FAS), Aleksander Čeferin, the Slovenian coach of the national football team, Srečko Katanec, and the Secretary General, Aleš Zavrl. President Pahor took this opportunity to express his support to the newly elected head coach, who is returning to the helm of the Slovenian football team.

9.1.2013 – The President of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor, is currently on his first official visit to Brussels, where he has met with all the key representatives of the EU institutions, the President of the European Council, Herman Van Rompuy, the President of the European Parliament, Martin Schulz, and today, late in the afternoon, he meets with the President of the European Commission, José Manuel Barroso, and the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Catherine Ashton.

7.1.2013 – The President of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor, today received a group of carol-singers who are preserving old customs and traditions and helping the poor and needy through their charitable activities. In the old tradition, the carol-singers sang a carol to the President, wished a happy and blessed New Year, and gave thanks for the gifts received.

25.12.2012 – Today at noon, President Pahor visited the Residential Home for the Elderly in Fužine and helped staff serve lunch to the residents. President Pahor thus kept the promise he had given to the residents during the presidential election campaign, when he joined the staff of the Residential Home for the Elderly for one working day within the project 'TOGETHER – Let us encourage each other'.
