President Pahor holds consultation on "the freedom of speech and hate speech"

Today at the Presidential Palace the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor, held a consultation on "the freedom of speech and hate speech".

Sixteen prominent public figures and policymakers from Slovenia – experts from non-governmental, academic, and governmental institutions – were invited to the consultation.

Consultations with the President are held on a monthly basis and, in terms of content, focus on topical long-term dilemmas. The purpose of the consultations is to exchange opinions, bring together civil society and politics, and find acceptable or at least the most appropriate long-term decisions for Slovenia.
